Sidoli surname in Northern Italy

Hi, thanks so much for info on my last post. Now I am searching for info on my maternal grandmother's parents. Pius Sidoli married Olinda in Italy. I would like to know where they were born in Italy. The info that I have is that Pius was born around 1880. They are supposed to be from Parma province area in Northern Italy. They settled in the US in New York City. Thank you so much.

I think the birthplace is wrong on the record Ive checked ancestry.com civil records of Cereseto (Alessandria province, Piedmont region)did not see the surname Sidoli in the indexes at all also it says Pius was married first to Assunta died in NY 1901

With the user saying they were from the Parma area I would order 1 film from Family History Library to verify the birth location The stato civile di Compiano (Parma), 1806-1910, frazione records are kept at the commune level So the Nati 1867-1872 Nati 1873-1882 Nati 1883-1890 Nati 1891-1897 Nati 1898-1903 Nati 1904-1905 birth record would have the info you seek

Thank you all so much. It sounds like they are both from Parma province. My mom had told me that she thought her grandfather was from Piedmont and her Grandmother was from Parma province. I think that the mystery is solved, thank you all so much.
