I seek to find birth information of Genuario Pricolo, born in Grumento Nova, near 1862, son of Bernardo Pricolo and married Virginia Bafunno on 8 February 1885

Gennario and Virginia had a little girl, Rosaria born ? August 1886.
Genuario was aged 24, a peasant farmer?
I think they lived at via Mancosa???

I’ve had a very quick look through the indices 1885 to 1895 and couldn’t see any other children born to Gennario and Virginia. I don’t have much time today but will look again in the next couple of days.

If Gennario was born before 1866, which it looks like he was, you won’t find his birth record on line. You will have to order the relevant film from your local LDS family history centre.

Thanks for the help, I'll look for the historic center on the birth records before 1866.
- Genuario Pricolo emigrated to Brazil in 1886 and had four other children with another woman named Isabel Villacci being:
Bernardo
Vincenzo
Maria
Rosa.
Rosaria also emigrated to Brazil but I have no records and died in 1949.
Apparently there are no other children
- Records 1869 until 1972 could not locate. Or lost or out of order

There will be a fee to cover postage to bring the film to your local centre and then you need to go to the Centre to view them. Where I live we are able to have use of the films for a few months and have to book in times to view but in other countries it is only about six weeks, maybe less. I don’t know about Brazil. We are also able to share films if they are already at the Library. Maybe make some enquiries from your local centre before ordering.

I’ve had some time today so have made some enquiries for you about ordering films in Brazil. This is the reply I got.

“There are 315 FHCs in the country of Brazil. All
> but 11 of them have the capabilities of ordering and
> viewing film. The 11 are: Comari, Cristal, Guaíba Jardim,

So if you were wanting to order the films from one of the above Centres that may have been why no one was able to help.

I also asked them whether there were any associate public libraries in Brazil - some countries have this system - but there are not.
