A Poll - Where was your appt / how long until notification

This is an informal poll for anyone who has been successful in getting citizenship via Jure Sanguinis or the like.

What consulate did you apply at?
How long did you wait for your initial appointment?
How long after your final appointment did you hear about the success/failure of your application?

We applied in NYC and I believe we had to wait 8-9 months for an appointment in August 2011. However I think they were short-staffed so they cancelled it and then the soonest we could get was February, 2012. We needed to get/correct a few items, and had to wait another year. As if to compensate, after that appointment early this year, we received our letters from the Consulate within 2-1/2 weeks. We were stunned! I'd done a search of these boards and thought we'd wait 2-6 months. No idea why.

Received recognition letter on March 2012, got my Italian passport May 2012.

My appointment was in Philadelphia in December 2012.

The wait for an appointment in Philly is almost a year.

Still waiting to hear results of application.
