Gatto or Guzzo? more manifest wishful thinking

I need a few opinions on another manifest when you all have time.

Name: Giuseppe Guzzo
Date: 21 Feb 1901
Ship: Werra

I have quite a few relatives on this page: Gatto, Tucci, Pagliaro.

The name that is problematic is Giuseppe Guzzo, line #22.

He's after an in-law Francesco Tucci (married to Rosina Gatto) and before my g-grandfather Gaetano Pagliaro (married to Angelo - Angelina Gatto).

In fact this is my favorite manifest so far since so much of the family and cousins? (Felice & Lepiane) are traveling together.

I'm hesitant to read his name as Gatto.
If he were Giuseppe Gatto, he would be related and I could add him since I have a bit more info on Joseph Gatto on the census living in the same neighborhood in Trenton.
This is another one of my brick walls that I need assistance with.

Also confusing are the ditto's under 'going to stay with'
It's another clue if he were going to stay with his brother Giovanni (Gatto) along with Francesco Tucci above him.
(Note: the addresses both families are going to Nevins and Gates are in Brooklyn.)

What do you think? Guzzo or Gatto?

Hi Valerie -- In my family & community, the 2nd generation & beyond pronounced Guzzo with a short "a" sound; however, I would hear the name pronounced with more of an "oo" sound - at least by the 1st generation or those who spoke Italian. If you would like me to explain my connection to the Guzzo's, please send me a private note & then I'll expand on my connection.

Thanks for pulling this post back up!
What I was looking for was confirmation that there was another
'Gatto' brother that came to the US.
Since my family is separated in several places on that particular
manifest, I was trying to confirm that I hadn't missed any relatives.
Thank you for looking, if it turns out we did have an actual 'Guzzo',
we can compare notes !
