I am trying to find my family roots in Italy. I know my great grandparents came to the United States in the early 1900\'s. There original name was DiClemente, my grandfather and his siblings changes there name to just Clement. I also know they came from a place call Abbruzzo (spelling?) But I can\'t seem to find any Diclementes in Italy anywhere. Also my great grandmothers maided name was Diprimio.

There are 308 persons surnamed Di Clemente in Abruzzo spread across several provinces. The town of origin is necessary in order to obtain information and documents. Since you don\'t know the town (apparently) go to www.ellisisland.org and look up your family members entry into the USA as immigrants. When you find the right name click on the name and then click on the upper left for the ships manifest and then enlarge it and find the town they came from. From there your home free and get back to me. Peter
