I would like to know if somebody knows the surname ciavola. And where can i find information on birth places.

I assume you mean ciavola since you listed your inquiry heading with Caivola. There are 92 Ciavola in Italy with 40% in Sicily and 20 in Lazio region and the rest scattered thruout northern Italy. Peter

go to www.ellisisland.org and insert the last name for all ciavoli who enttered the USA at NYC. There may be others who entered the USA at different ports like Boston, philadelphia Baltimore, New Orleans but much much less than NYC though. Peter
