Has anyone ever heard of the surname Carrosi

I was born in Rome Italy and was give the name of Paolo Carrosi. <BR>I was later adopted through an Catholic organization to an American couple from New York. <BR>I am trying to research my birthname but have no luck. I don\'t know if it was misspelled wrong or there just isn\'t any carrosi\'s in Italy with that spelling. There are some that lived in the United States but they are .

The closest to your name appears to be carrassi but thats speculation. Have you requested original birth records from Rome? Peter
