I meant to say in my first message that the only Carrosi\'s I find spelled that way are dead and no I haven\'t tried to get my orginal birth certificate in Rome because I have no other info except my name and I wouldn\'t know how to go about it either. <BR>Thanks for the suggestion. <BR>Paolo

If you know the agency or orphangae in Italy then we can try to get your birth record. The only two Corrosi that are listed anywhere in the world so it seems are on the ellisisland.org website and they are from Carpiento R (Romano I suspect) in Province of Rome while the other Corrosi was from acquasanta in the province of Ascoli Piceno, Marche region. I assume you for certain that they are deceased here in the USA correct? We can always request their military records if you need any vital information. Have you tried to obtain any social security information on these two Corrosi from Italy? They are the key to all this. Please let me know and don\'t despair. Peter
