I am researching the Oliveri line in Sicily and ancestors of Benedetto Oliveri. Benedetto immigrated to New York on December 9, 1902. The Ellis Island Passenger Record lists his place of residence in Sicily as Borgetto. Benedetto was born Feb. 9, 1888 and died in Woonsocket, RI in Aug of 1974. He had a brother, Guiseppe, and a sister \"Rose\" who also immigrated to the US in the early 1900s. I am searching for information on their parents or other relatives who stayed behind in Italy. <BR> <BR>Any help would be appreciated.

You can either write to the Ufficio di Stato Civile in the town and ask for birth records or go to the nesarest Family History Library of the Mormons nearest your home and request the microfilm for the town records. You can also go to www.paginebianche.it and look for relatives by name,address and telephone numbers.
