Dear no name if you wish to locate a record for your grandmother entering the USA as an immigrant go to www.ellisisand.org and that will give you her age upon arrival and from that you can figure out her year of birth . You can also look at the ships manifest (upper left click)and then from there you can go to www.paginebianche.it and put in her last name in the first line and the town of origin in the third line and click \"cerca\' which should give you a list of any same surnamed persons in that town if there are any currently residing there. Hello Peter, <BR> Maiden name was Cipriano, married name Contino. Doesn\'t appear that they came through Ellis Island, spent many hours on Ellis Island sites in the recent past to no avail.

Since she came from Catania (the city or the province?) did you check for any famiklyt ties there? Do you know when she was born and when she died? Please advise just what you specifically want to know?? Peter
