Peter, <BR>As you suggested, I looked up my great-grand father at ellisiland.org. There were four Raffaele Cataldo\'s listed. I may have narrowed one down, but I need to get a copy of his birth certificate. I now know that montefalcione is in the provice of Avallion. His parents are Raffaele Cataldo and Angellina Colelli. He had one know brother Augustine Cataldo. Last known residence for great-grandpapa and his brother was Roslindale, Ma. How do I contact Avallion to request a copy of his birth certificate.snicky

There are three Montefalcone. one is Montefalcone appennino.....2)......Val forte and 3) .....nel sannio. The provinces are Ascoli Piceno, 2) benevento 3) Campobasso. When you determine the proper Montefalcone go towww.circolocalabrese.org/resourfces/letters/index.asp for the proper postal code and form letter in italian. Adress your request to the Ufficio di Stato civle in that town and province and include the postal code.
