naturalized grandparents

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

In the 1920 census, my italian grandfather and grandmother both indicated that they were naturalized in 1914. They were married in 1913. Is there some way to access the information of the naturalization process? I was hoping there might be some facts about their parents. etc.

www.ins.usdoj/gov/graphics/aboutins/his ... natrec.htm will give you directions to obtain those records. You also can obtaion these records from social security if they are deceased after 1963 at a small cost. Peter

There\'s a typo in your URL, Peter - this should do it: <BR> <BR><!-- BBCode Start --><A HREF="http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/aboutins/history/natzrec/natrec.htm" TARGET="_blank">http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/aboutins/history/natzrec/natrec.htm</A><!-- BBCode End --> <BR>
