Disalvo ancestry also

I have the names of my great-grandparents. They were Nicolo (Nichola) Disalvo, born in Palermo, and Antonnia (Antonina) Barranea born in Alia. I also would like to know of any cousins, etc. that I may have in Sicily, or in Italy for that matter. I am an American Sicilian woman trying to research her dad\'s side of the family. Thank you for any help. You can e-mail me at this address: redheadnsassy@wmconnect.com. P.S.- I don\'t need the nasty comments, from the guy who last used this forum trying to find his Disalvo ancestry. ;-)

Disalvo ancestry also

Your interest in finding relatives is laudable and if you go to www.paginebianche.it and insert the family surname in the first line and the town in the third line and then click CERCA a listing will appear if there are persopns in that particular town with that surname. If there are not too many you may wish to write one letter to all of them and ask if they are related. If you wish to conduct any further research then think about your objectives and start out last and work backwards. I mean start oput by going to the Ellis Island records if you know everything in the USA about your family and then go back so that you can find your blood relatives systematically. Peter
