Looking for info on Perrozzi possibly from S. Magno Colle

i just googled "perrozzi" and came across your posting hence the time delay !

My father Giuseppe Perrozzi was born in Colle San Magno in 1947. His parents were Antonio Perrozzi and Angela Adamo. I have been to Colle San Magno on numerous occasions and it's well worth a visit. Probably hasn't changed much since your ancestors left ! As far as I undertsood, most of the Perrozzi family worked the local mountains collecting fire wood. Out of my fathers family (10), 1 went to Switzerland, 1 to France, 4 to Ireland and the rest stayed in Italy.

As far as i know there is only 1 lineage of Perrozzi's to come from the Colle so we're most likely related.

My great grandparents were Rocco and Benedetta(Ferrante) PERROZZI, what records I can find list them as from S. Magno Colle. My mother says that isn't correct but they are from Mouth Casino or somewhere Naples, "there was a Monestary that was bombed in WWII".

They came to the US in 1919 to the Lousiana area, but later moved to Chicago. They had 4 childern Magno, Italia, Peter, and Umberto (my grandfather).

Hello! I am looking at this forum with real interest-my great grandparents came to UK in 1903 from Colle San Magno, Scipioni Perrozzi and his wife Nicolina. We, their family, have lived in Yorkshire ever since they came to Sheffield after coming off the ship at Liverpool. We are a large family, all descended from Scipioni's and Nicolina's children- Vincent, Alexander, Paulo ( my grand dad), Rocca, Antonio and Michael. I am currently one of 3 Paul's in the family. Some of us went to live in Australia in the seventies but research into family trees and visiting Colle have shown we are all related from Perrozzi's who left there in the very early 1900's.
