Any Meli\'s out there

I am starting my family tree and would like to know if there are any Meli out there? My Grandfather\'s name is Salvatore Meli (from Pachino in Sicily) and had about 7 or eight kids. Of the seven, I know of a few.... Giuseppina Meli (maiden name) - died in the 80\'s, Maria Meli (maiden name) died in the 70\'s, Saro Meli (lives in Canada). thx

why don\'t you starft out by going to the towen in Italy and looking up people who may be relatives with the same last surnam.e Go to www.paginebianche.it . I presume you studied italian. Peter

my best friends maiden name is Mele, we think her family was from Salerno, or near Naples. My family and hers were freinds in Italy before moving to Philadelphia. May be a variatin of your name.
