There are 15 persons in Isernia with the Evangelista surname and if you know the birth date or birth year for Adolfo you can write to the Ufficio di Stato Civile for documents like his birth record and marriage record of his parents. You can also write one letter to all 15 persons and ask them in Italian or very simple english if they are related to your grandfather. You can include a self addressed envelope with a dollar inside if you wish for stamps, so that they can respons. English is the second language. Please let me know what you wish to do. Peter
