Looking for ancestors- Della Valle from LePrise Sondalo

My Great Grandfather, (Guiseppe) Battista Della Valle, born in LePrise, Sondalo in 1867, came to Australia sometime before 1890. I believe his fathers name was Peter and his mother Catherine ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thought it was quite obvious. Supposedly someone in Italy has ancestors in common with me. I was expecting an informed persons reply, not that of a Smart Alec

It is not obvious and there is the old dictum (saying) NEVER OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS. I am not a mind reader. Now for contacting possible relatives go to www.paginebaicne.it and insert your surname in the first line and the town in the third line and click \"cerca\". If there are any persons in that town with your surname then a list will show up with their names,addresses and telephone numbers. If you require documents and have first and last names along with year of birth you can obtain them easilyu enough. Please let me know. if yhou wish to write the persons in Italy write in simple english, include a self addressed envelope with a dollar for stamps to encvourage a reply. Peter NYC

I did a quick cjheck and there are 48 Della Valle in Sondalo. Select only those from Leprese (probably is a frazione or neighborhood) in Sondalo. That will narrow down your search. Good Luck OZ!. Peter NYC
