all records are in the town of origin. You will have to trace back and find the town of origin since the ellidsisland site could not gie the town.Go relatives and ask them if they know the town or soembody knows something about the family that will give a hint as to the name of the town. Perhaps if one of your family from Italy became a naturalized citizen you can obtain a copy of their intention to become a citizen from US Immigration. Peter
