I am so blown away everyone! I was just checking to see if anyone had replied, never expecting such help! We are correct that he is the son of Michele Amato and Giovanna Sarno. I had just found Antonio's death certificate on familysearch.org. Wow, so much more to search. So much closer to understanding my family history. My grandfather had always said his father was the conductor of a large orchestra. He said he toured all over Europe with John Phillip Sousa. Would love to find proof of that! I see he was also listed as a musician on another document. All this help will keep me busy for a while! THank you so much everyone! Can't wait to see what we find next!
