Dionisio in english is Dionysus, Dionisia or Dionisian. The French have adapted the name as DENIS.

I amnot able to divine Accussia or Acusia while Carlo is Charles =Peter=

Calogero can also be Charles in English. It looks like the 2 siblings Charles and Lillian were actually Calogero and Calogera.

(from 1910 manifests, home was Sciacca)
best guess: Accursia
Sicily, derived from the Italian Soccorso = 'Help'

No doubt there's a better translation

Can we get any kind of info on this Calogero Castronovo

Anyone know how I can research family in italy....like looking for copy of birth Cert, death, wedding....etc??

Question for ya .....I have people telling me to look at microfilm for Sciacca........on this film can you see the actually records......or do you have to send for them or pay for them??

I am having a hard time location Dionisio Cottone and Calogera DiCarlo/Cottone once they came to the US...can anyone help
