Sabino, I emailed as per your November 20th post, on Nicola Montecalvo and they replied attaching a letter in their email. I am not quite sure what the next step is for me to do. Is there a way for me to foward their email to you and you can explain it? I tried translating it, however I am not absolutely sure what to do.
Dolores

Dottoressa Gerardina DE LUCIA
via Verdi 15/17
83100 AVELLINO (AV)
ITALIA

http://www.archivi.beniculturali.it/ASA ... ervizi.pdf

Sabino, Would you be kind enough to translate your post to me in English. When I attempt to translate it, it loses something in translation.

Hi Dolores :-)

The letter you received...
Basically, it states that they are notifying you that the search you requested about ... resulted in finding the record.
To have a copy sent to you you will need to send the sum of 5 euro for the photocopies and the postage, in a sealed envelope, with the information about the person/record to the following address:

It is listed on the letter - and Sabino has given you the format of the address above :-)

Al Direttore dell'Archivio di Stato di Avellino
Dottoressa Gerardina DE LUCIA
via Verdi 15/17
83100 AVELLINO (AV)
ITALIA

Thanks, Tessa. That is sort of what I thought, it was the sealed envelope that threw me off and I wanted to be sure that I was not missing anything..........I appreciate your help!!!

That's what it appears to say! :-)

I would put the money in a sealed envelope and then put that inside the envelope with your request...

This e-mail is strange, l'Archivio di Stato di Avellino accepts the dollards? it is new?
There are other people here who paid in dollards?
