oh my goodness.....This is just wonderful.......I have been all day looking for the girls in italy....where do you get the info. I tried the comune di borgo va di taro but no luck...it is funny because everything is in Italian, and I can't read it. When I was a child I spoke italian but today nothing, and thats only the dialect. I cant seem to get to the right place where david and pietro were born...Comune Varese ligure, la specia province, liguria region..but couldn't find the right website that i could type in the names. I tried so many different webs but its funny because no understand....My sister and I laughed and laughed because we tried Virginia and dina after Giuseppe and Eugenio and angela after pietro...Rosa we know was closer to Luigi. .we tried our grandmothers pattern (he he)..I am going to keep trying. angela or angelina maybe spelling of angela wrong....her married name is Collori, again not sure on spelling....lived Cembrano all her life and son lives close by. I am trying just one at a time.Eugenio should be easy, he died at a young age, but I haven't even tried him yet. Well AGAIN i Thank you, you brought a tear to my eye. Take care
somehow again I lost a reply...I can't believe you found the girls. wow.
I already typed something like this so I will wait to see maybe I can find it. I also saw like a glance something about I think the Mother's death, but where it is I don't know. will look....thanks graciously like I said there are no words to express my gratitude.
All the civil registrations acts that I'm sending you (the ones from the town of Varese Ligure or Maissana, the images in Italian about the birth or death acts) are coming from the databases on the payment site Ancestry.com there are no free databases for those towns on Internet, this is the link to the italian databases on that site:
I think that the correct lastname for your aunt's husband was Callori (please remember that in Italy all women keep their maiden name for all their lifes even if married) but, as I previously told you, only the death acts are present online until 1937 while the marriage acts are online just until 1910, maybe too early for the marriage of Giuseppe's sisters in Italy...
On 1931 when Antonio died, his wife Maria Giacopazzi was still alive and was living in Cembrano, the little fraction of the village of Maissana... I checked the death registrations for Maissana until 1937 and there is no death act for her, it's possible she died after 1937...
Pietro Paolo Coffrini was born on 15 april 1897 in the Comune of Varese Ligure, specifically in the little hamlet of Salino He was son of Antonio Coffrini, age 52, farmer and of Maria Giacopazzi, his wife, age 36.
[ u]Dear Laura,
Thank you for all the information. I get to the site top of page put in birth record of my aunt.....then on the page that comes down it says Birth records, everythings in Italian....i put name, mothers name and click below....problem i have to figure out what they are saying (he he) laughing. At least, thanks to you I am in the right place....its 3a.m here and I am tired and wacky. Where are you....who is the picture of near your name. He looks a little bit like my father but its hard to see. I am too tired but later I will try again. Now looking for Dina (spelling possibly wrong like all the rest of them) Dina I know lived in Camoggi and died there.(Angela was the last living girl) I don't know Dina's married name, good for the girls in Italy that kept their maiden names.... I have to check the list you sent me and figure out what two years are missing, that will give me the approximate date of Birth. I think she is after my father but I am not sure. Gotta get to bed Thank you again,.
