Does anyone have any info on Michele LiCalsi, married to Rosalia Macaluso,. He was born abt 1778, she abt 1790. Contessa Entillena, Palermo, Sicily, Italy
Any info in either direction will be appreciated.

Michele is listed as being born in Contessa Entellina on November 6,1806 if this is correct person. Rosalia Macaluso seems to be from prizzi and not Contessa Entellina.=Peter=

Could you check it out and see if I'm overlooking something?

It lets you go deeper but not backwards to find the root directory to search.

A sort of root directory can be found here: http://contessaentellina.net/contessa/o_l.htm ; it is only for surnames beginning with L, however if you click on the blue capital letters on the top of the page (just under the title) you can go to similar "directories" for the surnames beginning with all the other letters.

Rosalia was the sister (half sister indeed) of my ancestor Andrea Macaluso.

Peter's affermation that Rosalia was from Prizzi sounds a little bit strange to me; I thought that her father was from Contessa . May I ask for its source?
Maybe her father temporarily resided in Prizzi and she was born there. I remember that Michele Li Calsi was from a distant village (maybe Sperlinga); I must have some other data about Rosalia and Michele wich I hope to post in the next days.
