I'm looking to find out as much information about my Grandfather,
Michelle Gallucci.
Born in San-Marco la Catola IT.
WWII was captured in North Africa, Tripoli.
Brought over to England, only known camp was his last camp near Bingham in Nottinghamshire.
does anyone have any ideas, where i can
a) find what unit he was in?
b) find out his movements between camps?
c) find out anything?
Hoping to upload a couple of photos of him in his uniform.
Can anyone help?

Try www.nottsfhs.org.uk for their information on WW11 Italian POWs in Nottinghamshire. =Peter=

Re: Can anyone help?
As to the unit he was in, etc, try requesting his military records from the provincial archives. A letter such as the following should do the trick:Mike650 wrote:I'm looking to find out as much information about my Grandfather,
