Cognome Andreatta

C'e' qualcuno che puo spiegare l'origine del cognome Andreatta? Ce ne sono molti nel Trentino e nel Veneto, ma non credo che siano tutti parenti. Grazie.

Andreatta e un variante del cognome basico cioe ANDREI con molte altre derivazione e alterazione che sono diffuso in tutta l'Italia. Questo nome ha alla base il personale Greco ANDREA e si affermo in Italia durante la tradizione cristiana nel Impero Romano.

ANDREATTA is listed in the Italian surname dictionary as being an alteration or derivation of the base surname ANDREI. The Andreatta variation is found mostly in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region with slavic roots ANDRICH and ANDREASSICH and from DREI and DRI. Of course all this has at its base the Greek name ANDREAS (ANDROS) which was popularized during the Roman Imperial times. =Peter=
