There does not appear to be any micorfilmed records for Cuccaro or Olevano in the Family history Library which is an indication that the records may be lost or housed in another location at the provincial level. Request information as to whether the records exist. if they do not exist and you are interested in researhcing the surnam(s) then go to www.google.com an dinsert in the title the surname of interest to you and the word GENEALOGY alongside so that anyone doing research on that surname will show up. I have written to the offices, i will post here to let people know what response I get. I also looked up the addresses of Fralicciardi's in those areas ( Italy) and wrote to them letters explaining my situation.Hopefully some good news comes to me from this.Hopefully records do exist somewhere in Italy...Thanks for the help everyone.

How would i find the address and title of office for this "provincial" level within Salerno? Would this be the equivalent to writting to the Province rather than the communes within the province?
When writting emails to offices of comunes, do they normally respond right away saying they will look for the requested information? Since i have emailed a few offices about a week ago i havent had any response from them.I also wrote them letters through the mail as well, which i assume would take at least a few months time before getting a response.By th way these offices are not for Salerno, but for other places.

Salerno Provincial can be contacted by e-mail at assa@hydranet.it or Email:assa@hydranet.it. There you can inquire as to the proper address for what you are seeking. Peter
