I believe they were married 26 Nov 1882. Could that other date be the date the matrimoni was annotated?

Date on the notation is 2 March 1883. (at the end - recorded)

The date of the marriage is 26 November 1882.

I think there are abbreviations and that is why it is hard to decipher the annotation. I think the abbreviation is there for the word inspector, as well as the abbreviation for S Maria Capua. So I believe the marriage took place in your town. I am still studying the surname which looks like Capota. I think the name before that is another middle name for the groom-I at first thought it might be GiovanAlbo, but I don't see an i after the first letter.

That's a relief. That agrees with what I had aquired from the Atti di Matrimonio.

After the signature of Tomasso Lucarelli is says...

On 26 November 1882 in the comune of SMCV was married Anna Scialla with Francesco Antonio Ianiello -
recorded 2 March 1883
signature of official

The I in Ianniello (should be 2 n's) looks like a G

Thank you both.
Could someone scrutize my GGF birth act for me. I'm not positive about some of my translations.

Found it...

I'll post here when I'm done. But I'm sure if there was anything amiss, Livio would have corrected it for you...

BTW - the annotation Livio translated refers to Rose Scialla, not Anna Scialla?

Baby Francescantonio Ianniello was born on 25 December 1856 to Salvatore, son of deceased Antonio, 28, farmer; and Domenica Stellato, daughter of deceased Nicola, 28, his wife.

Notation for marriage was recorded same day as the one on Anna's BR.

I hope it is Anna. Nowhere else has she ever been referred to as Rose. With my untrained eye, I could probably make a case for Anna or Rose. I haven't any doubt who she is (my GGM). The name Rose would just muddy the waters a little bit. Not that my ancestors have made it easy for me so far.
