Well, I was born of Italian parents, and adopted by Italian parents, and married an Italian woman and I was born in 1969, so you can imagine how many towns/lines I am researching! (I have maybe 5 more towns to list!)

There is a website covering 1700's tax registries which in Italian are Catasti Onciari ( do not wish to overlook the obvious) and since you have many names you can run this "name check" thru for any possible connection for that early period. www.onciari.net. Peter

I just confirmed it again www.onciari.net. it is in Italian and if a name comnes up you can click for further breakdown under "sommario". i do know that these lists are houses in a library in Naples and often require a personal looksee since correspondence is difficult from what I just read. Peter

Hi James. I was wondering if your adoptive family had any relation to Elizabeth Bianco from Quadrelle Provincia di Avellino Regione Campania? This is my great grandmother

I just fiddled with this web address... the link has a . after net which throws it off. It should be www.onciari.net without the period. Then it works! Good luck, Jim! (four years later... :) )
