I am looking for information on my grandfather, Julius Merola (or Julio or Giulio Merola), born 2 Aug 1896 in Naples, Italy, immigrated to Philadelphia, PA in 1914. His mother's name was Betistina Sangiozanni, and his father's name is unknown. I would like to learn names of his siblings,as well as his father's name. Thank you for any help you can give me.

My great-grandfather was Lorenzo Merola, from Centola Italy. I am trying to locate his birth certificate for dual citizenship. I believe he was born around 1903, as his Ellis Island records show his arrival in 1920 at the age of 17. Please let me know if you have any records relating to him?? Many Thanks!

My GGgrandmother Maria Pesaturo(nee fortucci) took in an orphan to live with her in Glasgow. according to the 1891 census there is an Alexander Merola aged 6 living with them but no news of the parents. I looked up his birth certificate he was born on the 27th July 1885 in Glasgow. His parents were married in Casino in Feb 1885. Their names were guiseppe merola and maria guiseppa Merola (nee Gialunardi). Does this mean anything to anyone

As you can see, I've been away from this site for awhile.
Lorenzo Merola was born on or about 12/17/1902 in Centola. His parents are Raffaele Merola, born 9/7/1869 and Vincenza Cusati, born 5/18/1876. They were married on 1/21/1899 and together had 13 children which I have located (there could be more). Your Lorenzo was named for his grandfather, Lorenzo Merola who was a bettoliere (tavern keeper). Vincenza's father, Giuseppe Cusato was a negoziante (shop keeper).
