Death of the first Ciriaco...
#15
Date of death 23 March 1872
Father was Giovanni, mother Anastasia.
Ciricao was 8 months old.
Death declared at town hall by Benedetto Centrella 50, and Antonio Bonito 45, both peasant farmers from Montefusco

FYI - Anastasia's last name is written as Feroviello...not sure why. Info matches the birth for Ciriaco in Aug 1871.

Birth Act #23 (?)
Maria Carmela Parente
Born 1 September 1874
F: Giovanni Parente, son of Ciriaco, 35, peasant farmer
M: Anastasia Camerlengo, 27, daughter of Filippo, his wife living with him.
Notation on record is that Maria Carmela was a twin, the first born of the two, with another birth record immediately following.

Interesting note:
Anastasia's place of birth, given on this record, is S. Martino Sannita.

Birth Act #44 (So Maria Carmela must be 43)
Angela Parente
Born 1 September 1874 to
Giovanni Parente, 35, son of Ciriaco, and
Anastasia Camerlengo, daughter of Filippo, his wife.
Given the name Angela. She was a twin to Maria Carmela, and was born second.

Image 104 is a duplicate of 2nd page of Angela's Birth Act.

This image:
http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/9591/page0103.jpg

Birth Act #43 (These numbers were hand written by the current official/clerk, and he may have mixed up the two Marias)
Angela Parente
Born 16 July 1872
to Giovanni, 25, peasant farmer
and Anastasia Camerlengo, 24, his wife.

You will notice there are discrepancies with the age of the father at each birth. I will double check them...

I've checked all the records...the ages I've translated are the ones recorded...
We know Giovanni was born in 1848, so I would just use that for his age.

You can write to S. Martino Sannita for Anastasia's birth record. There may also be a notation on that record regarding her marriage and her death...
