I'm looking for information on Abramo Tettamanti born 1877 in Uggiate-Trevano, Lombardia, Italy , married to Maria-Julia Dacomo, last know residence canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.

Their children where:

-Victorianus Tettamanti born 27 Ago 1911 in Vuippens Switzerland married 21.Aug 1940 in Novara to Maria Galli.
-Honorina Ludovica Tattamanti born 17. Aug 1912 Vuippens Switzerland
-Adela Leonia Tattamanti born 17. Mai 1914 Vuippens Switzerland


Carlo Ferdinando Mauri born 4th April 1885 in Garbagnate Monastero, Lombardia, Italy, married to Jeanne-Augustine Dacomo son of Antonio and Giovanna Mauri nee Redaelli, last know residence canton of Fribourg in Switzerland.

I have the marriage certificate of both men and they where married to my great great aunts. I have checked all possible sources in Switzerland but got stuck.
It is likely that they moved back to Italy. Thank you for your help.

Thank so much for the information. How would i go about to find out where they died? I have written to the comunes so far no answer. However if they moved back to Italy, then i don't know where they moved to.

until 1936 sure he no died in Como province, because I found no record... maybe after ... the communes cannot reply you because the communes relaying death certificates by death date; and that is what you know not... I found the death of Abramo father:

Ferdinando Giuseppe Tettamanti husband of Rachele Lurati/Turati born in Uggiate- Trevano, resident in Besazio town( Canton Ticino, Switzerland)); born the 4 jan 1840, son of Giuseppe Tettamanti and Giovanna Corti, died in Besazio the 14 aug 1924; transcribed in Trevano the 15 aug 1926.. it could be possible that also Abramo moved in Besazio??

Thank you very much for the information, you are fantastic! I have now written to possible relatives in Besazio ( Canton Ticino, Switzerland), because they are of the same surname Tettamanti and it is possible that they are related to Abramo Tettamanti. I'll let you know as soon i hear from them.

Regarding the family of Carlo Ferdinando Mauri born 4th April 1885 in Garbagnate Monastero, Lombardia, Italy, i have recieved a letter from the comune of Garbagnate Monastero giving me some further information and also the address of a possible relative in Monza. I have also written a letter to them.

Thank you so much for the great information, i added all to my family tree. Could i ask you another question?

It concerns my great great grandfather Giovanni Dacomo, he was born around 1856 in Bee Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont, Italy he was married to Marie-Louise Girot. As a young man he moved to France where my great grandfather Francesco and his sisters Jeanne Augustine and Maria-Julia where born, i was able to trace the family through the archives in France. Around 1900 the family moved to Vuippens canton Fribourg Switzerland. However after 1900 i lost trace of him and his wife, all efforts finding any records in Switzerland ended at a dead end. I have also written to the comune of Bee and they told me they had no records of him (hard to believe) i also written to the parish church in Bee, no answer yet. I believe he had brothers of the name of Modesta and Cesare. I have a copy of a contract which mentioned those two names.

I don't know if he moved back to Italy or not and i don't know where he and his wife died. I have tried about everything but no luck. Maybe you have some information about the Dacomo family in Bee.

The Beé civil records are no trancribed by ancestry.com and it are only the "allegati" ... however :
Jeanne Augustine Dacomo, really Giovanna Augustina Dacomo domiciled in Etrochey, born in Beé the 20 jan 1891, daughter of Placido Giovanni Martino Dacomo and of Maria Luigia Girot, all Dacomos domiciled in Vuippens.... so maybe in your search you must try by full name: Placido Giovanni Martino Dacomo..
however I searched, handly, in deaths "allegati"( transcriptions of death out of Beé, but pertaining Beé born) from 1917 to 1926 and no death abt Giovanni Dacomo ( Placido Giovanni Martino Dacomo)... I know not where to search....
