Angelina Lima born 1900 and Amedeo Falzone born 1896, both lived in Santa Caterina Villermosa Sicily Italy, I would like to find marriage certificate and birth certificates or any other info. Any ideas how to go about this?
Also child Anna Falzone, all came through Ellis Island and I have the manifest and death info. but no more.

Hello and welcome :-)

If you are looking for Italian civil records you can go to your nearest LDS Family History Center. They have microfilmed records for Santa Caterina Villarmosa, that you can order and view.

They have civil records available from 1821 - 1910
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library ... ++di++Sant++

And they have church records available from 1606-1910

Use this link to enter your zip code and find the nearest Family History Center...

If you wish us to help with US records, it would help to know a few more details...
Year of Immigration?
Places lived in US?

since your know their dates of birth, and if you are sure they were born in, and married in Santa Caterina Villarmosa, then you can write directly to the comune to request birth and marriage documents.

Address:
Ufficio dello Stato Civile
Via Berlino
93018 Santa Caterina Villarmosa (CL)
ITALY

FYI, I run a small, private, low-volume mailing list for people who are looking for relatives from Santa Caterina Villarmosa [note villArmosa, not with an E].

Please contact me through this site and let me know if you'd like to join our list. You might find some connections!

Wow, amazing and interesting. Now I know why my Aunt was named Bernadetta (Americanized version). How were you able to trace this information? I would like to seek their siblings as well.
Thank you so much for your time in this matter. I did attempt your website and will try it another time with a translator :)
Thanks again.
Sincerely yours,

Off the boat story: I was told as a child and then some that we have relatives in Argentina, the story is told as they got off the boat and could not afford to get back on. Has anyone heard of this? or is it a tall tale?

Arlene the story sounds distorted and contrived to satisfy something or somebody. When Immigrants go to an incoming receiving immigrant nation like Argentina there is work, menial or otherwise and in early turn of the century years fares were not exorbitant. I woujld consider this a tgale suffering the ravages of misinformation. =Peter=
