Post by lbernard3 »

Could anybody tell what it says after Gradia Volpe?

I see fua-doesn't that mean the next word is a name? Someone who died?

And then what follows up to contadina/farmer?

Thanks

LB

Need to see a bigger section of the document. What uploaded is only two words and not what you think uploaded.

This appears to only be an occupation and I see you have another post for that.

Hi LB :-)

It reads "sua moglie, legittima, secolui convivente, contadina"

"His wife, legitimate, living with him, peasant farmer"

The scripted "s" looks a lot like an "f"

The name is Grazia Volpe.

Gradia does not exist as an Italian name, and also look at the letter "d" in the word "contadina".
