Wow, Jim, you find some real puzzlers! :-)

Giocchina Xarrone? Can't figure out that first letter :-(
Maybe an "I" or "L" ?

Have to put my two cents in about the surname-

any possibility that those are two c's in the middle and not two r's. Could the first letter be a T and the surname be Taccone? I thought there was an r followed by a c in the name but can't find anything like that.

There is a surname Torrone but the second letter of the surname is definitely an "a, "in the record, so I eliminated that.

Hi Peg :-)

I thought of the "double c" as well... but didn't think about a "T"

Your "two cents" sound good for "Taccone".

When I looked at this record and more specifically that surname, I wondered why I could not figure out the name. It wasn't written sloppily or hurriedly. I really thought someone would recognize the surname which I had not seen before. I didn't expect it to be this tough.

My thanks to everyone who has worked so hard on this one.

I have a better idea. I think it could be Turcone.

That was my first conclusion. However, the 1st letter was a complete mystery to me.

Thank you

Well, Jim, that is my final answer, so I hope you can verify the surname through some other record

Hi, T. That first letter is a killer!
