I see there are microfilmed records for the city of Palermo only until 1908. Are you referring specifically to the city and not the province of Palermo? If you are, I suggest you send an email to the anagrafe or registry office in the town of Palermo and ask if they have civil records post 1905.

Here is an email address for the town:

servizio.anagrafe@comune.palermo.it (no spaces in the email address)

to help you with writing in Italian, you can refer to one of the following websites:

Hi 1vinnie and Maestra36,
at "archivio di Stato" civil records are not complete : for example the "Palermo City Marriage Index" goes from 1820 to 1895. Birth index goes from 1820 to 1905. The only complete archive from 1820 to today is at :
Comune di Palermo
Stato Civile
Piazza Giulio Cesare, 1
90127 Palermo

e-mail : serviziostatocivile@comune.palermo.it

regards.
I'm searching lost relatives and descendant of my greatgrandfather Vincenzo Genualdi (or Gennaldi or Genuardi) and my greatgrandmother Concetta Davola (their sons: Angela, Carmela, Antonio, Bartolomeo, Ernesto, Simone, Riccardo, Maria) went in Chicago,Ill., and New Orleans, in 1880-1920 from Sicily. Other family related : Jacobucci or Jacopucci (from Central Italy).
