Re: Italian Family in Italy
Hello,
I don't know if this means anything to a Simonini family member seeking to discover distant relations originating from Corsanico. My grandfather was Julius Simonini (1879 to 1952) He was from Corsanico and arrived here in Boston in 1907. At the time my grandfather was 28 years old. He was married to Elvira Simonini and they had four children:
Eufemio (sp) Eugene John Simonini (born in Corsanico)
Luigi (Louis) John Simonini (born in the U.S.)
Maria (Marie) Simonini (born in the U.S.)
My father: Donato (Donald) John Simonini (born in the U.S.)
They later relocated to New Jersey where they remained for the rest of their lives.
I'm planning a trip to Italy in late April and plan on visiting Corsanico. Is there anyone out there with any knowledge of my Simonini heritage in Corsanico?
I would be most grateful,
Sandra Simonini
