This is a birth certificate from the town of Ribera in the Province of Agrigento (Sicily).

The official of the civil state viewed the register with the acts of birth of the year 1888, number 31 (31 is the record number).

He certifies that Giuseppe Alfano, the son of Ignazio (Alfano) and Anna Soldano was born on the 18th of Oct 1888.

This present copy was released on September 6, 1952.

Thank You so much! Can you make out his dads name? Does it look like Ignacio?

As Maestra36 already pointed out his dad's name is Ignazio.
