Deeper than GrtGrt Grandparents, paternal...(thanks again!)

Post by JPMessina44 »

My great grandfather was Paolo Messina, born June 12, 1888......his parents were Rosario Messina and Antonia Battiato (according to Sant'Antonio) and Battieto (according to Catania records)......

They lived in Sant'Antonio, Catania, Sicily.

Other than that, i know this is very limited information but it there any records that can be found on Rosario and Antonia?

Thanks again for all of your help, as always!!

The LDS has filmed the following records for your town:

Registri dello stato civile di Aci Sant'Antonio (Catania), 1821-1929 Aci Sant'Antonio (Catania)

Registri ecclesiastici di Aci Sant'Antonio (Catania), 1574-1910 Chiesa cattolica. Sant'Antonio Abate (Aci Sant'Antonio, Catania)

Riveli di beni e anime, Aci Sant'Antonio e San Filippo (Catania), 1651-1815 Sicilia. Deputazioni del Regno

Go to www.familysearch.org, then follow the Family Library Catalog and Place Search (type in Aci Sant'Antonio) links to view the film details.
