Translations of Marriage & Death & Remarriage Records

Post by DebiHarbuck »

Can someone help with the details here, please?

I have a marriage record, record of the bride's death, and then the groom's second marriage record (which spreads over two images); the person of greatest interest to me is Giuseppe Latorraca, but all details are welcome.

Thanks!

Ooo...interesting tidbit about Elena's death! I will have to go find that certificate. Is it unusual that it would be mentioned?

Maria Teresa was underage and therefore she needed both parents to consent her marriage. Since her mother Elena was dead she had to present a death certificate...

Here is the death act for Elena Petrocelli:

http://postimage.org/image/1oh9xbe9w/

I know from your post earlier that the date is September 30, 1866 and I think I got her parents: Matteo Petrocelli & Cristina Puglise. Can someone confirm that and also let me know if I am correct in reading that Elena was the widow of Nicola Latorraca and the wife of Domenico Dimaria?

Also, how old was Elena when she died? (I think it says 40-something?)
Thanks!

Thank you, Livio. The year is 1866, right, because she was dead when her daughter married in 1870?
