Croce, Manno, Ferraro, Ametrano

Post by BenDK »

I was hoping to do some look-ups and gather information on the Italian side of my family. Recently had a giant (300+ person) Italian family reunion, that covers the families of: Croce, Manno, LoPiccolo, Ferraro, Ferguson, Ametrano, and Pelazzo.

I am hoping to gather information on ancestors and family members. They gave us a rudimentary "family tree" (basically just a listing of everyone who was there) so there is some places to start (basically a long list of names). Some are deceased and some aren't.

Any help would be great.

The furthest back Croce (with dates) I have is:

Antonio Croce
Feb 28 1897
Dec 29 1972

His father is Donato Croce. I have no dates for him.

To be honest, I really don't know. All I have to go off of is an old record of a great aunt in her handwriting (which is kind of hard to read) but it honestly looks like Fugento. But if there's no Fugento and only a Ugento then I guess that'd be it.

I am also researching the MANNO name. I was able to get back to 1856. Our MANNO family came to the US from Agira, Sicily. Maybe our families link thru brothers or sisters of Domenico Manno.
