Santa Severina

Post by sundance229 »

Hi all, both my grandparents were from Santa Severina. Family names were Barone & Sculco and Lorente & ?. I've found records for a lot of other towns, but haven't found any from Santa Severina. If anyone can give me direction in locating any sites where I might find some records for this town it would be greatly appreciated!

You probably won't find records for this comune online yet.
But you have two options:

1 - You can rent and view the microfilmed records of this town at your local LDS/Mormon Family History Center. They have civil registrations microfilms for years 1809-1909 for Santa Severina. (formerly in Catanzaro Province, now in Crotone Province)

To find your local FHC... enter your zip at this site:

2 - You can write directly to the comune of Santa Severina.

Address:
Ufficio dello Stato Civile
Piazza Campo
88832 Santa Severina (KR)
ITALY

Write your request in Italian...
