Opera

Hi all!
I'm looking for information about an opera singer named Micheli...I believe his full name is/was Mario Micheli (don't hold me to that though!)He toured during the 1940's and my grandmother was a big fan, she saw him in Paris.
Has anyone ever heard of him? I tried a google search, but had no luck. If nobody has heard of Mr. Micheli, does anyone know of a good site for me to research him?

Thank you very much. I did find a similar site earlier, but from what I understand Mr. Micheli, himself, was an opera singer. I will have to go and ask some more questions.
The Mr. Micheli (Mr. De Micheli?) referred to in the above link sounds like a fascinating man!
