My Grandfather was Luigi Conti of Pofi Italy.He left Pofi in 1913 to come to Sharpsville Pa.From what I understand he had younger brothers who never left.When I was in Pofi and went to the comune I didn't know this.How can I find the names and ages ?Also My Grandmother also from Pofi ,her surname was Recine.Trying to find the same.I have dates,Parents names and even Grandparents.

The LDS Family History Centers have the microfilmed civil registrations for POFI, Frosinone, Italy available for rent and view. However, the records available are only for the years 1878 - 1899. These include nati(births), matrimoni(marriages) and morti(deaths).

If your dates fall outside of these parameters, you might try writing to the Comune of Pofi to request your GF's record, and inquire of the siblings.

For reference, is this your GF arrival manifest?

According to this record he was leaving wife, Maria in Pofi; and he was going to what appears to be Seneca Falls, NY(?) on the second page of the manifest...

No thats another Luigi who left Pofi very near the same date.I saw that myself.My Grandfather arrived here on Ellis Island with 3 or four other men from Pofi.One of which was a Scurpa who was either related or very very close.He married my Grandmother Mattia Recine who came to Sharpsville just before Christmas of 1916.She was related to The Scurpa's and has one listed as person she was coming to see.His ship was called principal something.

I have these records of both.I have wedding records from their marriage here in Sharpsville in Jan. 1917.I have world war 1 paper he had to sign, I even found a Recine listed at his address here a few years before she came.I was at the comune in Pofi and they were very helpful but at the time I didn't know he had brothers.They are very busy.
