Ralph E. Bisi - 1959 Obituary - Pittsburgh

Post by luclor97 »

Hi,
my ancestor, Ralph E. Bisi (organist), died January 11, 1959 in Pittsburgh, maybe in the hospital ... which one?
Can anyone help me to find his obituary?

Perhaps the article was published on Pitt Post Gazette ...

A special thanks for your help!

Regards from Italy

Not sure if this is about your relatives, but how many Bisi's could there be in the Pittsburgh area? From my limited Italian, it seems the family started a pasta company in the Pittsburgh area and Ralph was a son or grandson of the founder.

Have not yet found an obituary, but I found this burial card... maybe it will give another lead to follow?

Grazie Italia1963,

From Ancestry.com - DeFrange Family Tree
Ralph E. Bonistalli Bisi
Birth 1892 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States
Death 11 Jan 1959 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States

Caption: Aunt Rete gave this list of names of her siblings to Paul bertram Maglione who typed it and sent it to tim DeFrange in 1978. with the exception of Pauley's poor spelling, this list is a reliable source to determine who was born a Bisi and who was born a Bonistalli.

Online Google News.
There was a death notice in the Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, January 13, 1959 on page 22, about Ralph E. Bisi.
