1767 Baptism record

Post by Congemi »

Would appreciate help with this 1767 Baptism record from Chiesa cattolica. Santa Maria Nuova (Monreale). I know the child's name & his parents but there is some confusion abt the date as the date written above the record is the 23rd but in the index, which was created sometime later, states the 24th. Can it be discerned from the record which date is correct for the two events. Could it just be a error on the part of the transcriber? Also I would be interested in knowing what the balance of the record is stating.
As always help with this matter is greatly appreciated.
Tana
