Tutsaleno name, San Biagio

Post by tracisnails »

I am looking for information related to Annie Tutsaleno possibly from San Biagio. She was married to Joseph La Marca (De Marco) definitely from San Biagio. They had a son named Cologero La Marca (De Marco). Cologero died in Los Angeles 1957. I have already tried to send San Biagio letter asking for information but they will not return correspondence. I do not know which parish to send letter to in San Biagio either.

Please Help!

itanlianresarcher, yes he was born in San Biagio, Agrigento. I really just need information on his mother Annie Tutsaleno (not sure this is spelled correctly). Suanj thank you so much for all of the information! I have quite a bit info on Calogero just nothing on his parents. His death cert listed his father was Joseph De Marco but Carls wife Marys dad was also listed as Joseph De Marco. Not sure witch is wrong if either are.

thanks again

I am not sure where in Sicily the Tutsaleno name comes from.

well your ancestor was

Calogero MARCA ( no La Marca or Di Marco or De Marco; just: MARCA) born in San Biagio Platani on 17 Jan 1887 ( act #10), son of Giuseppe MARCA ( 46 old) and Anna TUZZOLINO
Image

San Biagio Platani no replied because the Calogero surname was wrong in your request as a well Tutsaleno .....

Hi, I just searched in some birth registry; I believe that previous of Maria Anna born in 1882, another Maria Anna was born in 1881 and died infant, so the second daughter was named as the first; I believe also that Calogero had 1 brother Salvatore born in 1878, but no birth act available for 1878..
I believe that the only Marca in San Biagio Platani are your ancestors, just a my suggestion.... maybe Giuseppe Marca was born in other Commune and married in San Biagio Platani... but for to know much it needs to search very well...

Salvatore could have been born in Cefalu? Is there any information on Maria Cardinale? Possibly born in San Biagio as well March 26 1892? She was married to Calogero. Can not find info on her either. The only record I have is her death cert and it says her mothers name was Rose Marie Cardinale.
