Hi,
We're looking for the ancestral town of Carlo Torretta born August 22, 1898 or 1897 believed to be in very northern region of Italy. It is believed his mother's maiden name is Magnaghi or something similar to that. Possibly emigrated in 1914 to the US. Thank you for any help.

Re: Carlo (Charles) Torretta
Thank you so much. The ss# matches the one I found for him. I'm going to confirm the rest of the information with his grandson. This is amazing. I can't thank you enough. We're visiting Italy and we wanted to visit the town his family comes from and because of your post we can now do that.

Re: Carlo (Charles) Torretta
I'm new to this site. My father Albert Louis Torretta was born here in the US to Charles and Pierina(Magnaghi)Torretta. We lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. Would love to connect the dots with relatives or where they were from in Italy. Please advise. Thank you. Gino
