Letter of recognition of citizenship sent certified mail?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Letter of recognition of citizenship sent certified mail?

Post by cannoli »

Quick question--
Is the letter of recognition of citizenship sent via certified mail? I just received a notice, but haven't had time to make it to the post office yet.
Hopeful that this is it!

False alarm! August 29th will be five months since my SF appointment. At my appointment I was told to expect the letter two to five months from then. Will keep you posted!

Thanks, Cannoli

No, those type of letters are not sent via certified mail. If the consulates do intend to send anything certified, they inform you ahead of time and request that you pay for the postage.
