Hello bluefairy79, and welcome :-D!
The Surname may have been spelled with an "i", not an "o"

Found this record in 1899 :-D
Birth in Genzano di Lucania of FRANCESCO GALLOTTI

Record #201
Dated 22 February 1899
Birth declared by the midwife, Giuseppa Ghelfi, age 37
Born to Cristina Di Stasi, legitimate wife of DONATO GALLOTTI
Child was given the name Francesco
Witnesses to the recording of the birth act:

Record #12
Dated 6 February 1898
Groom: Donato Gallotto, age 24, peasant farmer; son of deceased Antonio and of deceased Rosa Trinchitelli

Glad to have helped :-D

I noticed on the Family Tree you have on Ancestry that Michele La Greca is listed as born in Cammarata... not Ribera. Is this correct?

I think making a separate post will be helpful.

I had been searching the indexes in Cammarata, and stumbled upon a birth record for Vito La Greca in 1900. Will have to go back and find it :-)

EDIT: This Vito was the son of Vincenzo La Greca and Maria Scrudato
NOT the brother of the Giuseppe I found below :-)

I also found a birth record for a Giuseppe La Greca, born in 1899...HOWEVER, not able to "connect" him to you, yet. His father's name was Salvatore, and his mother's surname was Genovese...

I would enter the information as it's spelled. The other information in the record will make the "connection" as your ancestor. It was common to see names get different spellings from time to time...
