Hi,
I was fortunate enough to receive some military documents from Messina for my great grandfather Paolo Sulfaro. I am able to translate everything except these two pieces. If anybody could help me that would be amazing. I'm ever so thankful for all the help I receive on this forum. My research would not be as accomplished without it.
Thanks in advance,
Josephine

Military Service Document & Draft
Re: Military Service Document & Draft
It states he was first exempted from military service in 1902 because of Thoracic inadequacy and oligemia. In 1916, October 23rd he was examined again, and reported fit, and enlisted. He arrived at the front on February 9th, 1917, and was missing since May 22nd, 1917.
Finally, he was officially declared missing on january 28th, 1921.
